Why we love this

These are what we use in the kitchen at Big Boys to press the burgers into the pan to get them to the right thickness for cooking. Smashing the burgers down rather than pressing them into patties prior to cooking allows the edges to break apart slightly, giving a greater surface area. This allows more of the burger to cook, improving the flavours and colour of the patty.
